

Create: Ages
Create Ages is a mod I originally made primarily for myself. I felt that progression in vanilla Create wasn’t very engaging—it didn’t really encourage you to build component after component. What I wanted was exactly that kind of experience.
Create: Ages is an addon for Create that introduces a structured progression system through distinct technological eras. Instead of having immediate access to all Create machinery, you'll advance through four unique ages, each unlocking new capabilities and components.

What's Added
4 Machines:
- Andesite Machine, Copper Machine, Brass Machine, Zinc Machine
110+ Recipes:
- Age-locked crafting, smithing, stonecutting, and sequenced assembly recipes
55 Recipes Rebalanced:
- Vanilla Create recipes disabled and redistributed across ages for pacing
Ages Progression
Andesite Age - Andesite Mechanism (starter component for early progression) Kinetic basics: conveyors, drills, saws, bearings
Copper Age - Copper Mechanism (intermediate automation component) Fluid mechanics: tanks, pumps, steam engines, fluid piping
Zinc Age - Zinc Mechanism (storage & logistics progression component) Item storage & control: vaults, controllers, observers, display links
Brass Age - Brass Mechanism (advanced Create component) Precision crafting: mechanical crafters, precision mechanisms, sequenced assemblies

New Mechanic — Professions & Shop
Professions :
Each profession defines which items can be shipped for Shipment Points. Feed them into the Package Assembler to turn raw production into currency for the Shop.
Mining, Farming, Fishing, Hunting, Carpentry, and Create
each accept a specific set of items.
Shop :
The Shop is where Shipment Points are spent. It's split into categories — enchantments, premium items, magic items, and Bundles.
- Enchantment books (Mending, Fortune, Silk Touch, and more) at fixed SP prices.
- Premium gear — Elytra, Totem of Undying, Shulker Shells, Netherite upgrade templates.
- Bundles — ready-made packs of resources, mechanisms, processors, or AE2 parts. Right-click in JEI on any bundle to see its full contents before you buy.
Every price is fixed and readable, every bundle's contents are verifiable in JEI — no guessing.










For Modpack creators :
- Shipment professions are data-driven.
- Shop offers are data-driven.
- Bundles are data-driven.
- You can add new accepted shipment items, custom SP rewards, shop entries, and bundle contents through datapacks.
- Optional mod content can be gated safely, such as AE2 shop bundles only loading when AE2 is installed.
