What's new

I highly recommend you read this changelog before downloading, it lists the current possibilities and compatibilities of my mod!

  • First rendition of the mod, with simpler mechanics, dependencies are either Butchery or Butchercraft, none of their assets or code were redistributed.

Compatibilities

  • The mod supports Bits 'n' Bobs for using the Abattoir Chain with the cogs like native chains, it is, however, not a dependency.
  • Carcasses can be hanged on the Abattoir Chain that can be stretched between either Create's native Chain Conveyors, or Bits 'n' Bobs' mechanic gears (it therefore supports all cogs and gears BnB does).
  • To drain carcasses, both a normal drain from Create and Create: Encased's drains are supported!
  • If Iron's Spells and Spellbooks is installed, the drained blood will immediately turn into blood from Iron's Spells.

Features

  • Everything already has a craft, so it is completely survival friendly.
  • Use Create's Deployers and give them corresponding tools, place them underneath or on the side to use the tools on the riding carcasses, they stop and wait until fully processed
  • To drain a carcass, use Create's Drain, simply place it underneath, it will gradually drain the blood (speed configurable in config), as well as accumulating it for later use (has to be piped out!!!). Butchery's version requires to be cut with the knife first before bloodletting, replicating the native process of the mod.
  • The Butcher's Frogport can be used as a frogport loading and unloading carcasses onto the chain! And I can recommend giving it goggles, I redesigned them, and they look mighty fancy!

Issues

  • The Abattoir Chain lacks an inventory texture for now (I simply haven't gotten my hands on it yet).
  • Might be a little janky in places, feedback is not simply welcome, but highly encouraged!
  • More might exist, but I know no more than what I've listed.
