Crazy Antarchy Combat Balance 0.1.3
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Crazy Antarchy Combat Balance 0.1.3
- Added optional integration with ScalingMobs 1.1 for Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge.
- Replaced the original scaler's tracking with dimension-specific tracking and stable, saved attribute modifiers. Boss health and armor scale by the square root of the encounter's highest nearby survival-player count, within 100 blocks.
- Players joining an ongoing fight can increase its scaling. Players leaving do not reduce the boss's stats. Changes preserve the fraction of health remaining; loading a world does not heal or repeatedly multiply the boss.
- Multiplayer damage scales once after this addon's existing combat balance, including owner-attributed projectiles and Ice and Fire dragon melee and breath. Attack-damage attributes are not also multiplied, preventing duplicate scaling.
- Tamed dragons, juvenile dragons, creative players and spectators are excluded from party scaling. Zero-armor bosses keep zero armor.
- Prevented native Antarchy royal scaling from stacking with the integration. Identifiable saved native King/Queen boosts migrate while preserving damage taken. Unrecognized custom legacy boosts are retained and excluded from additional scaling.
- Single-player combat balance remains unchanged. Existing dragon, ordinary-mob and Cataclysm changes are retained.
Required: Ice and Fire Community Edition 2.1.3 and L_Ender's Cataclysm 3.33. Optional: ScalingMobs 1.1; royal integration targets Antarchy 2.1.1.
Validation: dedicated-server regression checks cover party changes, dimension tracking, persistence, dragon damage and native royal stacking; the existing 106 combat checks still pass. Real client and multiplayer fights still need playtesting.
Original addon source and MIT license are included in the JAR. ScalingMobs itself is distributed separately through its own CurseForge project.
