# ⛏️ CraftLink LAN
**Open to LAN, press F8, and your friends are in.** No public IP, no port forwarding, no Hamachi or Radmin VPN.
CraftLink LAN is the in-game companion of [CraftLink](https://github.com/PixelNetStudy/CraftLink-Java-multiplayer), an open-source (MIT) multiplayer hub for Minecraft: Java Edition. The mod connects your "Open to LAN" world to CraftLink and protects it with **CraftGuard**, an anticheat that runs on the host.
✨ Features
🌍 Host your LAN world
- Open to LAN as usual: CraftLink detects the port, world name and exact game version
- **F8** opens the CraftLink window anywhere in the game
- A **CraftLink** button on the title, pause and "Open to LAN" screens: start, logs, settings
🛡️ CraftGuard anticheat (checks guests only)
| Check | What it stops |
|---|---|
| Anti-X-ray | buried ores are never sent to guests |
| Anti-ESP | players behind walls are hidden from guests |
| Combat | reach, killaura snaps, hits through walls |
| Movement | speed, fly, timer, NoFall, NoSlow, Jesus, velocity |
| Blocks | nuker, scaffold, block use through walls |
| Packets | crash and dupe packet spam |
| Clients | known cheat-client brands |
🔐 LAN account check switch
An optional **"LAN account check (online-mode)"** switch in the CraftLink window, the same setting a dedicated server has in `server.properties`. **On by default**: your world behaves exactly like vanilla until you change it.

📦 Installation
- Install Fabric Loader 0.16+ for Minecraft **26.1 or newer**
- Put the jar into your `mods` folder
- Install the **CraftLink app** from its [GitHub page](https://github.com/PixelNetStudy/CraftLink-Java-multiplayer/releases) (Windows 10 / 11)
- Start the game and press the **CraftLink** button or **F8**: the mod finds the app and starts it
**Fabric API is not required.**
🔒 Downloads and privacy
**This mod never downloads or installs anything by itself.** The "Get CraftLink" button only opens the GitHub page in your browser.
**Client self-check:** the mod writes a local file with the list of loaded mods for the CraftLink app on the same PC. The file never leaves your computer as is: the app only reports matches with the cheat signature list when you join a CraftLink world.
⚠️ Good to know
- The CraftLink app runs on **Windows 10 / 11**. The mod itself loads on any OS
- **Incompatible** with e4mc and e4all (they use the same "Open to LAN" hooks)
- Only the host needs the mod

🎥 For creators and communities
🌐 The official network
The CraftLink app connects to the official network farm.pixelnet.kz out of the box: accounts, friends, hosting, voice chat and the social feed work right away, nothing to set up.
🏠 Run your own community server
CraftLink is fully self-hostable, so you can start a community for your region, school, clan or server team:
- run
start-server.baton your PC: it starts the CraftLink API and a Cloudflare Tunnel, no public IP or port forwarding needed - connect your own domain for a permanent address and point your players' client to it in
client/server.json - your own accounts, moderation, invites, bans and verification badges
- signed updates for your players, published only from the local admin panel on the server PC
Every community server runs on its own: you decide the rules for your players.
🛠️ Modify it and contribute
- The whole project is open source under the MIT license: fork it and adapt it to your community
- The mod builds with a plain JDK 17+ (
mod/build.cmd), no Gradle and no Minecraft jars needed - Have an idea or found a bug? Open an issue or send a pull request: the best community features make it into the official release
- Found a security problem? Please report it to the maintainers privately instead of opening a public issue
CraftLink is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
