What's new
Changelog
2.1.1
Includes everything from 2.1.0 (automation and JEI support for big recipes), now on every supported Minecraft version, plus Polymorph support.
New: Polymorph support
The stations now work with Polymorph (and Polymorph+). When the items in the grid fit more than one recipe, the arrow button appears next to the result slot and lets you choose which recipe you get — including when you open a station whose grid was already filled. Without Polymorph nothing changes.
New: Automation
Every Crafting Station can now work on its own. A new button next to the clear button toggles automation: the current grid is captured as a saved pattern, its contents move into a 36-slot internal buffer, and a 9-slot output buffer collects the result and any leftovers.
Once automation is on, pipes, conduits, and AE2 / Refined Storage networks can feed ingredients into the buffer and pull finished items out of the output — the station keeps crafting the pattern by itself, for as long as material keeps arriving. Turning it off returns everything to the output buffer.
If more than one recipe fits the same pattern, the station keeps crafting the one that was showing in the result slot when you switched automation on.
New: JEI support for recipes bigger than 3x3
Every station tier already crafted plain minecraft:crafting_shaped recipes larger than 3x3 (up to 9x9 on the Infinite Crafting Station) — JEI just didn't know how to display them, and flagged them as broken recipes.
JEI now shows them properly, with one recipe category per grid size:
- 5x5 on the Resonant Crafting Station
- 7x7 on the Transcendent Crafting Station
- 9x9 on the Infinite Crafting Station
The category's transfer button fills the station's grid directly from your inventory, the same way it does for ordinary 3x3 recipes.
Fixed
- Automation now also runs on the Crafting Station Slab; before, a slab with automation switched on never crafted anything.
