This mod requires Amnesia Core
This mod was made specifically for Kehaan's Amnesia pack.

I love this mod, chaotic stuff like this just makes games like Minecraft super fun. Do you currently have any plans to bring it to future versions? You don't have to rush anything out, just wondering if you've thought about doing it.

I am really glad you love the mod. Unfortunately, I do not plan on updating the amnesia mods to newer versions. That would likely take a rework of the entire core of the mod, and I, unfortunately, do not have the time for that anymore.
That being said, I do enjoy seeing mods live on, so the source code is open source, and anyone is welcome to update it, and I would be happy to give them what they need to publish it in curse forge.

Why give us a link to a WIKI but the WIKI itself is blank?
It's like me saying "We can go to the park in the car out front when we fix the tire on it"
[You go outside and look at the car, it's not put together. There's a frame, several panels, seats int he front yard, windows against the garage door, basically it looks like BumbleBee from The Transformers took it apart, oh and there's that one tire that needs to be fixed.]
Generally speaking if you don't have a car but parts to a car, in this case a wiki with no information, you don't have either.
I don't expect you to answer this, but a wiki with data in it sure would be nice.

Let me point out that it says "More information on the items may be found on the wiki when I update it." Note the "when I update it". I completely agree that there should be more information in the wiki. I had to release many of these mods at once because I made them all in my free time for a mod pack. I intended to go back and finish the wikis but due to a bunch of stuff, I haven't had time. Even now during the pandemic, I don't have time because I'm an essential worker and need to help other people.
Anyways, I still plan to update the wiki when I have time(it's still on my todo list) but I, like many people who make mods here, have a real-life and only do this for fun.
Just wondering if this mod is compatible with every mod or only some?

It should work without any changes for most mods. For the 1.12 version there is a config option that will allow you to add other recipe class(for if a mod uses a different one). So if there is a mod not working look in the config and try and add that mod's recipe class.

Could you please explain the syntax of the json file a little bit? I'm having trouble getting Extra Utilities 2 recipes working, but the classes appear to be in under "detected classes." I'm a little lost. What do I need to do? (I had no trouble with drop or loot amnesia's configs, but this one is different.)
BTW, my daughter loves all your amnesia mods so much. They are really fun.

Yeah of course! Sorry I've been too busy with school to add that(or anything really) to the wiki. The detected_classes array is updated to display all possible crating classes that can be added to the classes array. To add extra utils to be randomized just copy the class name(s) from detected_classes to the classes array. The reason behind not adding all classes detected to be randomized is that some recipes will make minecraft crash and the only way to know if it will work is to test by hand. I hope this helps!
I'm glad your daughter loves the mods! These were all Kehaan's ideas; he also a modpack with them all if you would like to skip the configuration.

Yes, we love Kehaan's Amnesia, but she got this weird idea that it would be fun to mix Amnesia with Sky Factory 4... So, here we go! lol Thanks again for your help. I'll let you know if I need more help. XD

You can actually copy that file and it should work fine.
Oh gosh, that sounds chaotic and hard. Sky Factory has actually been my favorite mod pack since SF2 with Amnesia coming in a close second now. I hope it works for y'all and that it doesn't take too long to get what you need.

Yeah, it's as confusing as physically possible, but it's fun so far. I need to add in more tech mods to get the sky factory feel, I think. I just wanted to get it working at this point before I went further. lol Sky Factory is why I bought Java Edition, actually. :) I'd like to get topography working, but it just crashes...
Thanks for your help! I got Extra Utilities 2 working and it makes a big difference.
