CraftDeck
A simple Fabric mod that connects the Minecraft inventory to your Stream Deck, letting you see and equip inventory slots directly from your deck.
How it works
CraftDeck is made up of two parts:
- This mod — runs in Minecraft and reports your inventory to a companion app running locally on your machine, and lets that app tell Minecraft which slot to equip.
- The CraftDeck Stream Deck plugin — the companion app, installed in the Stream Deck software, which displays your inventory on your deck and sends equip commands back to the mod.
Both parts need to be installed for CraftDeck to work. The mod talks to the plugin over a local connection on 127.0.0.1:49737 — no internet connection or account needed.
Installation
1. Install the mod
Requirements:
- Minecraft
26.3 - Fabric Loader
>=0.19.5 - Fabric API
0.161.0+26.3 - Java
25or newer
Steps:
- Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft
26.3. - Download Fabric API and place it in your
.minecraft/modsfolder. - Download CraftDeck from this Modrinth page and place it in your
.minecraft/modsfolder alongside Fabric API. - Launch the game using the Fabric profile.
2. Install the Stream Deck plugin
The Stream Deck plugin source and releases are hosted separately on GitHub:
- Download the latest plugin release from the GitHub repo above.
- Install it into the Stream Deck software (double-click the
.streamDeckPluginfile, or follow the install instructions in that repo). - Add the CraftDeck inventory actions to a profile on your Stream Deck.

3. Connect the two
- Start the Stream Deck software with the CraftDeck plugin installed.
- Launch Minecraft with the mod installed and join a world.
- The mod automatically connects to the plugin on
127.0.0.1:49737— your inventory should appear on your Stream Deck within a couple of seconds. If it doesn't connect right away, the mod retries every 2 seconds, so just give it a moment.
