🧚 Craftalotl

A cozy fairy forest for Minecraft, full of rainbow trees, tiny fairies, pink flower cows and magic for your pets.

Every idea in Craftalotl was dreamed up by a young inventor, then designed and built with their family and the help of Claude, an AI assistant. ✨

🌈 The Fairy Forest

Fairy trees grow in flower forests, meadows and cherry groves, in five pastel colours: pink, lilac, mint, sky and lemon.

• They glow at night. When the sun goes down, the leaves slowly start to glow: first a few twinkles, then the whole tree, with firefly sparkles drifting down. In the morning they fade back again.
• Pastel wood: fairy logs make fairy planks, and 8 fairy planks around a dye make pastel planks for building.
• Fairy flowers that brew into potions (add them to an Awkward Potion):   - 🌹 Pixie Rose → Healing   - 🔔 Dream Bell → Night Vision   - 🌼 Sparkle Daisy → Leaping

🍄 Fairies

Look for mushroom houses on the forest floor. Each one is home to two little fairies with pointy elf ears and shimmery wings.

• Trade with them. Fairies love cookies, sweet berries and honey. They sell fairy flowers, saplings, Fairy Dust, the Fairy Bell and even the Fairy Crown.
• Bedtime: at night they change into striped pyjamas and sleepy hats, fly home, and tuck into a tiny bed that matches their outfit. Shh, a sleeping fairy won't trade!
• Fairy Beds: craft your own in five colours (white wool + fairy planks + a dye).

🐄 Pink Flower Cows

Pastel pink cows with roses growing on their backs. Milk them like normal cows, or use shears to pick their flowers. The flowers grow back after a while, or straight away if you feed the cow a fairy flower.

👑 Crowns and Armour

• Fairy Crown: wear it to shrink to fairy size and fly!
• Emerald armour: green and shiny, a little weaker than diamond, and great for enchanting.
• Amethyst armour: like Sting in The Hobbit, it glows, sparkles and chimes when monsters are near.

🐾 Magic Pet Collars

Put a collar on any animal. Its colour gives the animal a power, and you share it while you're close:

Collared animals follow you around. Ring the Fairy Bell to call them all to you, and use shears to take a collar off.

Craft a collar from 2 string, a dye and the matching potion (Slow Falling, Invisibility, Regeneration or Water Breathing).

🔧 Quick start

Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 26.1.2, then drop Craftalotl into your mods folder.

To see everything straight away in a Creative world, try:

/place feature craftalotl:mushroom_house
/place feature craftalotl:pink_fairy_tree
/time set night
