Description
Courageous is a mod meant to overhaul the survival experience, adding brand new systems and ways of playing the game, such as world generation, pottery, traps, hunting, cooking, animals and more!
Current Features
Courageous is currently in early alpha, and this means that it is not ready to be used in a survival world, however, these current features are available to test in Creative:
- - Pottery
- - Biomes
- - Chopping Board for making modular sandwiches
The pottery currently includes a way to make a pottery wheel, and you can then put in clay, select a pottery piece and then power the pottery wheel with a button or similar to start it (a lever will automate creation). After you have made your piece of pottery, you can then dye it in a crafting table, to get your desired color. After dyeing your unfired pottery piece, you can take it to a furnace to fire it. After it has been fired, it gains its unique abilities. For example, the Amphora can hold 3 buckets of fluid, and the Watering Can can - surprisingly - water crops.
Currently included biomes are:
- Steppe
- Temperate Rainforest
- Alpine Forest
- Chaparral
- Lush Desert
- Fruit Forest
- Autumnal Forest
- Douglas Fir Forest
- Redwood Forest
- Snowy Mountain
- Sparse Alpine Forest
- Tundra
- Wetlands
Current trees include:
- Orange Tree
- Apple Tree
- Plum Tree
- Kiwi Fruit Tree
- Avocado Tree
- Lemon Tree
- Pear Tree
- Alpine Tree
- Douglas Fir Tree
- Maple Tree
- Palm Tree
- Redwood Tree
Sandwiches can be made through the chopping board (WIP), after you have cut bread into slices in the crafting table. Put the slices in the bread slice slots, and put any four ingredients in the ingredient slots, and make your sandwich! Delicious!
Remember: There is still plenty to add before Beta, and this is still in a very buggy state. Please don't use it for your survival world or modpack - I wouldn't want anything to happen to them.
Please note: many assets in the current build are temporary; they are not here to stay. The mod's artist, Vik, is hard at work improving them!
