Cosmic Dungeon

Cosmic Dungeon is a dark fantasy Minecraft mod featuring perilous, lore-driven dungeons, unique player classes, and encounters with cosmic horrors inspired by Lovecraftian themes.

Public beta

1.5.2 Beta is now available for public testing. The mod remains in active development; features, balance, and assets may change as testing continues. Keep backups of worlds used for beta testing.

Requirements and installation

• Minecraft 1.21.10
• NeoForge 21.10.64
• Java 21
• Install the matching Cosmic Dungeon version on the client and server when playing multiplayer.

In CurseForge, enable Beta releases to select 1.5.2-beta.1. Alpha builds are intended for development testing; stable releases will follow completed beta testing. This project distributes the mod JAR, not a bundled world or modpack.

Optional loading screen

The matching cosmicdungeon-<version>-loading-screen.jar is an optional client-only component. The Cosmic Dungeon Loading Screen companion project has been submitted separately so CurseForge can manage its updates after moderation approval. The helper is also available as an additional file on this beta and in the matching GitHub release. Do not install the loading-screen helper on a dedicated server.
