If you have biome mods installed, the world corruption feature won't work as intended and completely break your world. In media is how the world corruption feature normally works. If you still want to use biome mods the good news is that the entity that causes the world corruption is super rare and pretty easy to avoid, but I don't recommend risking it.

Important:

This mod can mess with in game settings, corrupt worlds, create .txt files on your desktop (the only file creation outside of minecraft), close and crash the game in various methods, completely freeze time in game (maybe irl too), create fake error pop ups, delete entire chunks, and kick or ban you from your world.

Features: A few monsters, dimensions, random events (some are adjustable in the config menu.), and more.

Also, to make the experience better, use True Darkness. It will make the world extremely dark at night and in caves, and use optifine or another mod like that for dynamic lighting, it will also make the experience so much better. Try not to use shaders that change the moon texture.
