Corrupted Shores is a late-game expansion mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. It features 3D models and unique ways to engage combat in Minecraft.

Getting Started

First, you have to seek out Corrupted Flowers, or Corrupted Forests. With Three Corrupted Flowers and a Diamond, you can craft Diluted Corruption Essence. With nine Corrupted Fragments (dropped Directly from Corrupted Mobs in Corrupted Forests) you can craft Diluted Corrupted Essence directly. Following, if you take light amounts of ancient Debris, you can purify the Corruption into Pure Corruption Essence.

These plants have become hosts for Corruption seeping in through the world's borders. Together, if harnessed correctly, the player can use the Corruption to upgrade their tools and approach combat and PVP differently (especially in different settings).

Weapons

Weapons and items are seperated into three types- Merge, Praise, and Purge. Praise items specialize in supporting yourself, others, or making you more survivable in general. For example, the Praise Staff heals and makes you immune to all fire damage for a few seconds. The Purge weapons specialize in harming enemies, or tricking them. The Purge Spear, for example, ruins enemy armor for every hit they take. If you have more than one Praise or Purge type weapon in your inventory, you spontaniusly combust from Corruption Overdrive. Merge types are frequently a hybrid between the two, and act moreso as gadgets. You can have as many Merge types as you want in your inventory.

Following this, if you have enough Corruption, you can turn a Netherite Smithing Template into a Corrupted Smithing Template. Using the powers of a "Last Resort" potion (crafted by brewing a Corrupted Flower into a Poison Potion) you can create Corrupted Armor. At the cost of not being able to mount anything, low durability, and low enchantibility, Corrupted Armor has a series of unique buffs that change the way you may attack others (especially in modded settings) with the use of new potion effects. (Watched, Shatter, Celestial, and Cleanse).

Miscillanious

There's a lot to be discovered. Dimensions, wands, gadgets, amulets, structures. It's a complete overhaul of late-game Minecraft that's sure to increase your hours, and change up metas on SMPs. Enjoy!

-The Mod also includes VHS tapes traded from Mother Courage (unique villager) and Wandering Traders

-Don't drop the Pure Corruption Essence!

-Corruption can also be used to create duplicates of other metals and resources

-Mother Courage trades Corrupted Flowers

-Don't have more than one Purge or Praise type in your inventory!
