Once spawned, it consumes everything, spreading corruption and turning the land into a wasteland. Only an ancient relic can halt its relentless hunger, cleanse the corruption, and restore balance. Without it, nothing can stop the spread.

Updated Changelog: Release v1.0.6 New Features Copper Wall Interaction
Partial Blocking:
New Obsidian's special behaviors can now be partially blocked by Copper Walls.
Copper Transformation:
Copper Blocks (standard or waxed) cannot be converted into Corrupted Obsidian under any circumstances.
Corroded Copper (oxidized copper) can be converted into Corrupted Obsidian, adding an extra tactical layer to copper block placement.
Waxed Copper Blocks: Waxed Copper Blocks placed next to Corrupted Obsidian will lose their waxed state over time, returning to their normal copper form.
Water Vaporization
Interaction with Water:
Standing water (source blocks) in direct contact with Corrupted Obsidian vaporizes instantly, leaving no source block behind.
Vaporization emits:
Steam particle effects.
A faint sizzling sound.
