CoreEcosystem-1.21.1-1.9.3-neoforge
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Added:
- Line of sight: the colony only goes after creatures one of its own can see. Out of sight for 5 seconds and it gives up. Settings in [targeting].
- A one-page note in the Message Capsule, "What Fell Here", beside the Core Detector.
- A first-hour check before every build: every name and every texture a new player meets.
Removed:
- The Field Guide book and its recipe. An old world's Guide vanishes when the world loads.
- The Core Detector's book "The Core Tree" (the setting detector_gives_book brings it back).
- The Core Detector's second line. It reads one line: where the Core is, its phase, its biomass band.
Tweaked:
- The Colony Lens says everything again: the biomass number, one line per kind of unit, then its body, its work and its land.
- The command is /coreco, with no other names.
- A Guard that cannot reach its target gives up after 14 seconds instead of standing there.
- A Gardener carrying a mob home with no route lets it go after 30 seconds; units step down 2 blocks off the shell; a tied-up mob no longer burns in daylight.
- No veins in the dome's walls, ceiling or air. A world that already has them is cleaned up when it loads.
- The Phase 5 soft lock: a colony with no Gardeners rebuilds one first, makes one SubCore egg at a time, and hands a stuck egg to another Gardener after a minute. Steps where a Gardener died are left standing.
- An arrow that hits something it cannot hurt glances off once and lies still. The colony's own arrows fly through its own creatures.
- Softer veins, closer to the ground they replace, four variants of each so a field has no grid.
- The flower head rebuilt to the designer's sketch: an octagon base, a hexagon eye with a rectangular pupil, thorn spikes, two rows of petals. No eyeball.
- Every config setting has a plain name on the settings screen. The two missing Jade names that crashed a development launch are in.
- Old config files get the new defaults (numbers you changed yourself are kept). message_capsule_give_book is now message_capsule_give_contents.
