Description
CopperClarity
CopperClarity explains why the vanilla copper block under your crosshair can or cannot advance.
The small HUD shows its oxidation stage, whether it is waxed, and whether an earlier-stage copper block inside vanilla's four-block Manhattan scan pauses progress. When the loaded neighborhood is complete, it also shows the exact advance chance for one random-tick selection plus the same-stage and later-stage counts used by the vanilla formula.
The percentage is not a timer, a per-second chance or an ETA. Vanilla random-tick selection, loaded and ticking chunks, server rules and ordinary randomness still determine when a change can happen.
CopperClarity is read-only. It does not wax, scrape, highlight, accelerate or modify copper. It never loads chunks, changes random-tick speed or sends a custom network request.
The overlay appears only while aiming at a supported vanilla copper block. F1 hides it with the vanilla HUD. English and German text are included.
Requirements:
- Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer
- Java 21
Fabric API is not required. The mod is client-side and the server does not need it.
Version 0.1.0 supports vanilla WeatheringCopper block variants. Copper golems, copper items, sign wax flags, unloaded chunks and arbitrary modded copper families are outside scope. A server plugin can still cancel oxidation without exposing that private rule to the client.
