CooLink (Fish Link)
What it does
Replaces the vanilla full-width chat input bar with a compact centered rounded card (Tab completion, up/down history, wheel scrolling kept).
Links the game to the local desktop pet Coopanion: lines starting with @ are not sent to the server but to her, and her replies come back to game chat.
Writes your live game state (dimension, coords, health, inventory, advancements, deaths…) into her workspace, where she can read it.
Two items: Feed Bowl (feed her food from your inventory, with a feed log and taste preferences) and Walkman (borrow a music disc and play it for her; returned afterwards).
Corner status fish: grey = disconnected, blue = connected.
How it changes the experience
Chatting no longer blocks your view with a screen-wide input bar.
You can talk to your desktop pet without leaving the game, and she reacts on her own to advancements, deaths and critical health.
She actually knows your dimension, health and recent pickups, so her answers stop being "I don't know what you're doing".
Discs can't be lost; if Coopanion isn't installed you get one hint after joining a world and then silent retries — no chat spam; everything stays on localhost.
