Construction Timer

In the early days of Minecraft, both placing and breaking blocks happened instantly. When block hardness was introduced, breaking blocks became progressively slower depending on the material, but block placement remained unchanged.

Construction Timer changes that. Instead of placing blocks instantly, you must hold the right mouse button until the construction is complete. The harder the block, the longer it takes to place.

Construction speed is also affected by the Haste and Slowness status effects, making defensive building during combat a more strategic decision. Trying to block an enemy's attacks without preparation may take longer than expected.

The mod is fully configurable. You can customize the base construction time, difficulty modifiers, and the effects of Haste and Slowness to match the experience you want.

The mod code and icon were generated using chatgpt due to my lack of skills in those areas and because I'm too lazy to properly develop them. That said, working with chatgpt is a nightmare.
