Computer Dweller

An ordinary computer. An extraordinary nightmare.

Computer Dweller is a Minecraft Java Edition horror mod that introduces The Dormant Dweller, a mysterious retro computer capable of transforming into a towering mechanical creature.

At first, it appears to be nothing more than a harmless beige CRT computer. But once awakened, its monitor flickers, mechanical limbs unfold, and something begins hunting you.

How to obtain the computer

Find Metal Scrap Ore deep underground in the Overworld, particularly around Y −32.

Collect Metal Scrap using a diamond or Netherite pickaxe, then combine it with stone, redstone, lapis lazuli, iron, and emeralds in a crafting table.

Computer Dweller was created through a combination of human creativity and AI-assisted development.

• Approximately 50% human contribution: Original concepts, creature design direction, artwork, gameplay ideas, creative decisions, and in-game testing.

• Approximately 40% AI-assisted contribution: Programming, GeckoLib integration, 3D model improvements, animations, textures, audio generation, and technical implementation using Codex.
