Composing is a mod that allows you to upgrade tools, weapons and armor in a unique way!
To view usage, refer to the in-game guide, crafted with a small crystal and a book.
Reminds me of Arcuz, was such a great game.
Just to let you know, this video link doesn't work.
In reply to MisterE_:
its a download, it wont play in browser
i can use it using forge?
This is a fabric mod and will NOT work using forge.
With this mod loaded, items with AttributeModifiers will still retain their original attributes, which is cool! Can this feature be used as a mod alone?
There are plans to integrate Attribute Modifiers with Fabric API, but these will still take a while. For now, this is the only mod that adds these.
I can only place items and gems on Composing Table states facing: north.
Perhaps the guide book has not been completed yet? I saw a lot of blanks and errors in it.
so uh.... the drop rate is 1 in 400k? with looting III? I looked at the code and please tell me im reading this wrong. Ive killed hundreds and hundreds of mobs without getting any crystals....
Default is 1 in 10.000, Looting 3 it's 1 in 4000, which is what we experienced to be the best drop rate. We've noticed it's incredibly easy to farm on higher drop rates with e.g. Enderman farms and such, making it incredibly OP very quickly.
In reply to Martmists:
i was in a ender men farm for well over half an hour and didnt get a single one with the default rates
Does work with modded items? (Using more gems)
In reply to mrdeathcow:
It should work with modded items automatically.
Hi ! i am really confused because I read here that you craft the guide book with a small crystal but i have yet to find one ! REI doesn't show any recipes for any crystal so my guess was that i needed to mine it but as I said i didn't find a single crystal. Are they super rare ? Have I missed something ?
Edit : Well what do you know, I just dropped one from a mob !
Crystals are a semi-rare drop from hostile mobs. Note that automated killing does NOT cause the item to drop.
Just like xp then ? Cool mod ! :)
i appreciate the video, it helps to explain a little how it works.
is there a guide that shows what each gem does at each tier?
also, you may want to look into uploading the video to youtube rather than a discord link as it just downloaded a webm file rather than playing in browser.
In reply to lorilith:
There's a guidebook ingame!
In reply to B0undarybreaker:
I appreciate that, i really do, but sometimes i just want to see all that a mod offers before installing it and spinning up a new game.
No worries if there isn't, if i get curious enough i'll just look for the in game guidebook in code :P
