CompBlock

CompBlock is a lightweight Fabric mod that allows players to compress vanilla items, mob drops, and crops into compact storage blocks, crates, and sacks. In addition to saving inventory space and serving as decorative elements, select blocks offer custom gameplay mechanics and interactive behaviors.

Key Features

• Resource Compression: Turn stacks of everyday items into single blocks via standard 3x3 crafting recipes, with reversible unpacking.
• Functional Blocks: Certain blocks provide built-in mechanics rather than acting solely as passive storage:
• Eye of Ender Block: Locates the nearest stronghold on right-click without dropping an item, balanced with an internal cooldown.
• Ender Pearl Block: Provides localized teleportation functionality.
• Stick Block: Fully flammable and usable as fuel in vanilla furnaces.
• Vanilla Integration: Textures and mechanics follow vanilla Minecraft design standards for seamless use in building and storage setups.

Compressible Categories

• Food and Crops: Apple Crate, Potato Crate, Carrot Crate, Beetroot Crate, Sweet Berry Crate, Glow Berry Crate, Golden Carrot Crate, and raw meat blocks (Beef, Porkchop, Mutton).
• Mob Drops: Rotten Flesh Block, Leather Block, Rabbit Hide Block, Feather Block, Phantom Membrane Block, Chorus Fruit Block, and Turtle Scute Block.
• Dyes and Powders: Storage sacks for all 16 dye colors, Sugar Bag, Glowstone Dust Bag, and Cocoa Beans Bag.
• Utility and Rare Items: Stick Block, Flint Block, Fire Charge Block, Shulker Shell Block, and Nether Star Block.
