companioncodex-1.2.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
New - Edit companions straight from the Codex
- Rows in the Codex now carry a small button that opens the vault's own Companion Home screen for that companion.
- Rename it, swap its variant, slot relics and particle trails, or release it, all without taking it out of the Codex first.
- Closing the editor drops you back into the Codex with the list already refreshed.
- To use it, place a Companion Home or a Companion Terrarium directly against your Codex block (beside it, under it or on top of it). The button only appears when one is there, and only when the Codex was opened from a placed block, not from the keybind. One player at a time can edit at a given Codex. Other player will not see the button untill the edit screen is closed.
- Releasing a companion through this screen removes it from your Codex, the same as releasing it from a Companion Home. If it is in your assembled party, it is taken out of that party first, so releasing a party member works and simply make the party smaller.
Changed
- The Codex block is disabled inside a vault, it can be placed but cannot be opened the management UI.
Performance
- The Codex list is noticeably lighter to render, especially with a large collection
- Relic data for each companion is now worked out once and reused, instead of re-reading every companion's relics several times per frame while the list is on screen.
- Modifier icon lookups are shared across all screens.
