This mods adds a single simple block - the Compacter.
- It will try crafting input items in either 2x2 or 3x3 pattern (configurable in the GUI) and output the result.
- It will process unlimited items per tick, as long as there enough items and energy provided.
- You can set it to work only when redstone signal is applied (configurable in the GUI).
- Recursive compacting mode can be enabled from the GUI which will try combining outputed items again (for e.g. compressed cobble).
- The compacter will use RF or EU power for every operation.
This mod requires a recent version of BDLib and either IC2 (experimental) or any RF mod (Thermal Expansion, EnderIO, etc.) for power.
Minecraft 1.12 version also supports Tesla and Forge Energy power.
Open Source
The mod is licensed under the MMPL-1.0, the source code is available on GitHub.
Yes this means you have permission to add it to any public or private mod pack.
Can the compactor recieve any voltage level of eu power?
What is the RF/t usage of the block, and is it possible to change it?
This is basically just a feature request but it'd be awesome to have the ability to combine 1x2 for repairing armors and weapons n' stuff just so that it wouldn't be such a hassle setting that up with a bunch of filters and auto-crafters.
Thanks for keeping up with this mod I don't know why but it's simplicity always makes me happy :)
"This mods adds a single simple block - the Compacter."
It actually adds 2 blocks, but the second block is creative only item, so i guess that doesn't count :P
1.10.2?
Another voice saying 1.10 please! I play 1.12 in singleplayer, but the friends I run a server for all insist on sticking with 1.10 for now! I desperately miss this when playing multiplayer!

This is what the dev said. Perhaps you should move on to 1.12 (modded).

What is the purpose of the cobblestone compacter ? It hasn't any recipe or interface.
In reply to Hypsellis:
Oh ok I understand, if it was for test, then you missed to remove it. ^^'
In reply to Hypsellis:
I'm not really convinced, some mods do it in better way.

This mod needs 1.10.2 update! I would like to add this in my modpack.
Great mod, love how simple this thing is and that it can work recursively. Would love to see this for 1.10.2.
Is the developer active anymore, or have plans to port this to more recent versions of MC?
