Combatives Changelog
Mounted Camera Compatibility
- Fixed mounted camera positioning so vehicle-defined first-person camera offsets are preserved instead of being replaced by Combatives player eye-height geometry.
- Improved compatibility with MCHeli vehicles, including vehicle types that use different camera/rendering paths such as aircraft and ground vehicles.
- Added targeted MCHeli compatibility where the normal vanilla mounted-camera path was not sufficient, without making MCHeli a required dependency.
- Preserved native vehicle camera ownership for cockpit, seat, driver, passenger, and gunner views where applicable.
- Prevented Combatives camera transforms from incorrectly shifting vehicle cameras upward after the vehicle renderer had already positioned them.
- Kept Combatives' procedural camera effects additive where compatible without interfering with the vehicle's base camera position.
- Restored native mounted targeting behavior so vehicle-specific camera positions are not paired with unrelated player geometry calculations.
- Improved camera ownership handling during vehicle entry, riding, and dismount transitions.
- Expanded debug diagnostics for mounted cameras to make renderer, mount, camera-owner, offset, and transform conflicts easier to diagnose.
Compatibility
- Vanilla horses and other mounts continue to use their existing mounted camera behavior.
- MCHeli remains completely optional and is not required to run Combatives.
- Unmounted standing, crouching, crawling, swimming, sleeping, and targeting behavior are unchanged.
