Colossal Quarry 1.2.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Colossal Quarry 1.2.0 (NeoForge 1.21.1)
New
- Build hologram: see-through ghost blocks show where every part of the rig goes.
- Place a Quarry Controller and the hologram shows straight away (client config hologram_on_place turns that off). Right-click an unformed Controller with an empty hand to show it, and again to hide it. The chat still says why the rig isn't formed.
- Blue: an empty spot in the shell. Quarry Casing goes here (a port works too).
- Red: a block that has to go: anything inside the 3x3x3 (it must be empty) and any block in the shell that isn't a rig part.
- A status line says what's left, e.g. "Still needed: 37 Quarry Casing, 1 Energy Port. Remove: 3 blocks inside."
- It picks the spot that matches the blocks you've already placed. Sneak + right-click the Controller to move it to the next possible spot (this works with something in your off hand too).
- It never shows a spot that would share blocks with a finished rig: two rigs can't share a wall. If every spot would, there's no hologram and the chat says so ("This rig shares blocks with another rig").
- It keeps up with water, lava, falling sand and gravel, explosions and pistons, not only with blocks you place or break.
- Only you see your hologram, also on servers. It goes away when the rig forms, when you right-click again, when the Controller is broken, when you walk away or change dimension, or after 5 minutes.
- One line about the hologram on the Controller's JEI/EMI info page.
Changed
- Right-clicking a Controller whose finished shell shares blocks with another rig now says why in chat. 1.1 opened the Controller screen there, which only said "Not formed".
Unchanged
- 1.0 and 1.1 worlds load and keep digging. Forming, digging and every number are the same as in 1.1.0.
- New client config file colossalquarry-client.toml with hologram_on_place (default true).
- A 1.1 client can still join a 1.2 server and the other way round; that player just gets no hologram.
