Collapsible Groups (Unofficial Backport)

An unofficial Forge 1.20.1 backport inspired by Collapsible Groups by StarskyXIII, bringing configurable, searchable JEI groups with cycling icons and popup item menus.

Collapsible Groups is a client-side addon for Just Enough Items (JEI) that reduces menu clutter by grouping similar items into a single entry while keeping them quick and easy to access.

The included configuration already supports a wide range of vanilla and modded items, and every group can be customized, disabled, or expanded to suit your own modpack.

*Instructions for creating your own groups are included in the configuration file.

Browsing Groups

Middle-click a group in JEI to open a popup containing all of its items.

Large groups automatically include a search bar, making it easy to find a specific variant. 

Searching Groups

Searching in the normal JEI search bar also searches the contents of collapsed groups. Matching items are highlighted inside their group, allowing you to find items naturally without needing to expand every category yourself.
