Cobble Raids

Cobble Raids is a mod for Cobblemon that adds raid battles to your Minecraft world. Find raid dens, challenge powerful Pokémon bosses and team up with other players to take them down.

You can play alone or with up to 4 players. Each raid has its own difficulty, and you can fight increasingly powerful Pokémon as you progress through the different star tiers.

Features

Raid Dens: Dens can appear naturally in the world, with beams of light that make them easier to find.

Raid Battles: Fight powerful Pokémon bosses with increased HP and a shared health bar. Work together with other players or take on a raid alone.

fakemon,Mega Evolution, Gigantamax, Dynamax and Terastallization can spawn into raid when supported by the Pokémon and the installed mods. Some forms need to be enabled or assigned using the appropriate commands.

Fakemon Support: Pokémon added by other mods can also be used as raid bosses, provided their species are compatible with Cobble Raids. You can add them to the available Pokémon pool using the appropriate command.

Capture System: After defeating a boss, you can have a limited amount of time to catch it before it escapes.

Shiny Pokémon: Raid bosses can be Shiny, giving you a chance to encounter a rare version of a Pokémon. (you can change the chance in the config base 1:100)

Raid Rewards: Defeating a boss can reward players with items and Pokémon-related rewards.

What do the stars mean?

Cobble Raids has six raid tiers, ranging from 1 to 6 stars. Higher-star raids are intended to offer a greater challenge, with stronger bosses and more demanding battle.

1-Star Raids: The easiest tier, suitable for starting out and testing the raid system.

2-Star Raids: A step up in difficulty, with stronger opponents.

3-Star Raids: Mid-level raids that require a more prepared team.

4-Star Raids: Challenging encounters against tougher bosses.

5-Star Raids: High-difficulty raids for players with stronger Pokémon.

6-Star Raids: The highest tier, designed for the most challenging encounters. Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are restricted to this tier by default.

The exact level and strength of a boss can depend on the settings and the Pokémon selected for the raid.

Individual Raid Dens

You can interact with raid dens to open a lobby, invite other players and start a battle. Other players can join before the raid begins, up to the configured player limit. (for each player that participates the boss gains 5x hp and you can choose whether he gains stat bonuses all from the mod's configs)

You can also use special items to activate dens. Wishing Pieces reactivate dormant dens with a random star rating, while Wishing Stars can activate raids of a specific tier.

Available Commands

The mod includes several commands for players, server administrators and Creative mode users.

/cobbleraid start starts the raid if you are the host and the lobby is ready.

/cobbleraid join lets you join a nearby raid when it is accepting players.

/cobbleraid leave leaves your current raid.

/cobbleraid info displays information about your current raid, including the boss, star rating and number of players.

/cobbleraid config opens the general raid configuration menu. The configuration is also where you can enable certain special forms, including Mega, Gigantamax, Dynamax and Terastallization, when supported.

/cobbleraid config general opens the general configuration menu.

/cobbleraid config den opens the settings for a nearby raid den.

/cobbleraid spawnnear attempts to spawn a raid den nearby.

/cobbleraid reload reloads the mod configuration.

/cobbleraid stopall stops all active raids. This command is intended for administrators.

AI Disclosure

This mod was developed with the help of AI during the development process. AI was used as an assistance tool, but no AI-generated images were used in the mod or its presentation. The idea and direction behind the project are my own.
