Cobblemon Wild Encounters
Cobblemon Wild Encounters is a feature for Cobblemon 1.7.1 on Minecraft 1.21.1 that makes wild Pokémon actively engage the player, creating encounters inspired by the mainline Pokémon games.
In vanilla Cobblemon, wild Pokémon remain passive and battles only begin when the player interacts with them. With Wild Encounters enabled, wild Pokémon can detect nearby players, launch an encounter beam, and immediately initiate a Pokémon battle.
Aggressive Wild Pokémon
Wild Pokémon no longer wait for the player to interact with them. Instead, they can actively initiate battles by targeting nearby players and triggering an encounter, making exploration more dynamic and unpredictable.
Classic Wild Encounter
When a wild Pokémon starts a battle, the player is greeted with the familiar encounter message:
"A wild <Pokémon> appeared!"
bringing the classic Pokémon experience into Cobblemon.
