Cobblemon Van Tweaks

Cobblemon Van Tweaks is a Quality of Life (QoL) user interface mod for Cobblemon, originally based on Cobblemon RIzeTweaks. It significantly improves the PC, Summary, and Battle screens while bringing massive under-the-hood performance optimizations for a much smoother gameplay experience.

Fully compatible with Cobblemon 1.8+.

✨ Main Features

• PC Box Jump: Jump to a specific PC box instantly! Click on the Box title while holding the Box Jump Key (Default: L Alt) to edit the box number. Press Enter to jump straight to the specified box.
• Hidden Ability Highlighter: Easily spot Pokémon with Hidden Abilities at a glance inside the PC and Summary screens.
• Scrollable Ability Descriptions: Added a scrollable text area for Ability descriptions within the Pokémon Summary, making long abilities easier to read.
• Summary Info Tab Scrolling: Added scrolling functionality for the Summary Info tabs.
• Summary from PC: Re-added the ability to open a Pokémon's Summary screen directly from the PC.
• Battle Move Effectiveness Tips:
  • Displays move effectiveness overlays directly on your opponent during battle.
  • Full Multi-Battle Support!
  • Custom Types Support.
  • Janky in-battle type changes support via battle logs (Note: This may not work flawlessly if you have multiple active Pokémon in battle with the exact same name).
• Configurable: Fully customizable configs featuring Cloth Config and ModMenu support.

🚀 Optimization Updates

This updated version (Van Tweaks) features completely overhauled rendering logic:

• Massive FPS Boost: The battle UI no longer performs expensive localization lookups every frame, eliminating FPS drops when rendering move effectiveness.
• Smoother Calculations: Removed deprecated GraalVM dependencies and flattened the type-chart structure, resulting in lightning-fast, zero-allocation damage calculations in battles.
