Your journey through the regions, like in the games. Legendaries are earned, not stumbled upon.

In Cobblemon you can run into any legendary from day one. Trainer's Journey ties them to your progress: a region's legendaries unlock when you start that region's trainer series.

What's inside

Region Locks – locked legendaries don't spawn, summon altars refuse (nothing gets used up), and balls bounce off.
Optionally lock all wild Pokémon of a locked region.
Optional summon limit (once per player or per world)
Works with summon altars from Legendary Monuments and LumyMon
More coming: a Pokémon-style start, and more

Commands

/journey locks – your unlocked regions (hover for details)
/journey locks unlock <player> <region> / lock <player> <region> – admin control, region by name or number (6 = Kalos)
/journey locks check <player> – someone else's progress (op)
/journey reload – reload settings (op)

Requirements

Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric, Fabric API
Cobblemon 1.7.3+
Radical Cobblemon Trainers for region progress (without it, every region is open)

Installation

Install on the server and every player's game. Feel free to use it in modpacks.

Cobbleverse note: Cobbleverse currently only has trainer series up to Sinnoh, so later regions can't unlock on their own. Admins get a warning in chat with the fix. Map a series in config/livingwilds/locks.json, or use /journey locks unlock.
