Cobble Sound Alerts v0.4.18

This is a major feature update introducing automatic Pokémon waypoints, individual Pokémon form tracking, directional indicators, improved highlighting, and customizable notification sounds!

This changelog includes all changes since v0.4.9.

New Features

🗺️ Automatic Pokémon Waypoints

• Added automatic waypoint support for Xaero's Minimap.
• Automatically creates waypoints when Shiny, Alpha, or Legendary Pokémon are detected.
• Waypoints record the Pokémon's last known location.
• Added a dedicated Auto Waypoints configuration menu.
• Waypoints are stored separately for each server and dimension.
• Added options to view, remove, and clear saved waypoints.
• Added a test waypoint option to verify integration.

🧬 Individual Pokémon Form Tracking

• Pokémon with multiple forms can now be tracked individually.
• Added automatic discovery of registered forms from Cobblemon and compatible addons.
• Examples include:
  • Gimmighoul (Chest / Roaming)
  • Ponyta (Normal / Galarian)
  • Regional and other registered Pokémon forms
  • Custom server forms, when registered with Cobblemon
• Added separate entries for forms in the Pokémon selection gallery.
• Existing selections remain compatible and continue tracking every form of that species.
• Updated alert messages to display form names when available.

🧭 Directional Pokémon Indicator

• Added a directional arrow near the crosshair to help locate rare Pokémon.
• The arrow automatically adjusts as the player rotates.
• Displays the Pokémon's name, distance, and vertical height difference.
• Prioritizes Shiny, Alpha, and Legendary Pokémon.
• Selected ordinary Pokémon no longer trigger the directional indicator.
• Can be enabled or disabled in the configuration menu.

🔊 Customizable Notification Playback

• Added two notification playback modes:
  • Play Once: Plays the alert sound once.
  • Repeat Until Stopped: Continuously repeats the sound until manually stopped.
• Press M to stop the currently playing alert.
• Stopping an alert no longer mutes future notifications.
• Added /cobblealert stopsound.
• Permanent sound muting remains available separately.
• Prevented multiple repeating sounds from stacking.

✨ Improved Pokémon Highlighting

• Added more visible, category-specific glowing outlines.
• Shiny Pokémon: Yellow
• Alpha Pokémon: Pink
• Legendary Pokémon: Red
• Selected Pokémon: Cyan
• Added an option to switch between vivid and standard white outlines.

🚫 Ignored Areas

• Added configurable exclusion zones to prevent unwanted alerts in specific locations.
• Useful for server spawns, NPC areas, and Pokémon displays.
• Exclusion zones are saved per server and dimension.
• Pokémon inside ignored areas no longer trigger sounds, chat messages, Discord notifications, or highlighting.
• Added a dedicated menu and commands to manage ignored areas.

Improvements

Pokémon Ownership Detection

• Improved player-owned Pokémon detection.
• Added checks for Pokémon being sent out of Poké Balls.
• Improved owner UUID detection using Minecraft's mapped ownership API.
• Added additional ownership diagnostics.
• Improved Wild-only filtering to reduce false notifications.

Note: Some multiplayer servers do not expose complete ownership information to clients. NPC-owned or player-owned Pokémon may occasionally still appear as UNKNOWN.
