An add-on to Cobblemon (1.7.1) that adds a configurable Shiny Charm item for Cobblemon, enhancing your Shiny Pokémon hunting experience!

Don't worry, the mod use the "Implemented Pokémons", so Pokémons added via datapacks works !

🎮 How it Works

When you wear the Shiny Charm (equipped as a trinket), your chances of encountering shiny Pokémon are increased according to the configured rates. The mod automatically detects when a Pokémon spawns near a player wearing the charm and applies the enhanced shiny chance.

📝 Commands

/shinydex info

Display current shiny rate configuration and percentage chance.

/shinydex reload (OP level 2)

Reload the configuration file without restarting the server.

/shinydex check [region]

Without argument: Check progress for all regions
With region: Check progress for a specific region (kanto, johto, hoenn, sinnoh, unova, kalos, alola, galar, paldea, national)

/shinydex missing <region> [page]

List all missing Pokémon from a specific region with pagination (30 per page).

Example: /shinycharm missing kanto
Example with page: /shinycharm missing unova 2

/shinydex completion <region>

Display detailed completion statistics for a specific region including:

Total implemented Pokémon
Pokémon seen
Pokémon caught
Completion percentage
Completion status

⚙️ Configuration

The mod creates a config file at config/shinycharm_config.json:

shinyChance: The denominator for shiny chance calculation (1/X)
Default: 3750
Lower values = higher shiny chance
Changes take effect immediately with /shinycharm reload

🔧 Installation

Download the mod JAR file
Place it in your mods folder
Ensure Fabric API, Cobblemon, and Trinkets are installed
Launch the game

Use /shinydex check regularly to track your overall progress
Use /shinydex missing <region> to see which Pokémon you still need to catch
Complete regional Pokédexes to unlock advancements and rewards
Adjust the shiny rate in the config file to match your preferred difficulty
