Ever wanted to make catching legendaries or shinies an actual challenge?
Want to have a rush of players competing for a legendary or rare pokemon when they spawn on your server?

This mod will allow you to limit the amount of pokeball catch attempts each player can make towards a specific individual pokemon as well as including various accompanying features.

Catch Limit Challenge

When a pokemon has a catch limit, each player will only be able to throw a maximum amount of pokeballs at it before any further attempts are blocked and the player must go on to find another pokemon of the same species to catch.

Optionally (defined in configs), the battle can be force ended and any future battles with that specific pokemon denied (this is to allow other players in multiplayer a chance to catch the pokemon).

By default the number of attempts is 15 but this can be configured.

When a player fails a capture, or the whole challenge for a pokemon, all other players will be alerted (configurable).

How to define catch limit challenges

Any pokemon with the aspect 'maxcatchattemptschallenge=true' added to them will have a catch limit challenge, no pokemon will spawn with this but it can be added when spawning pokemon via commands (or through any other means which allows defining aspects).

A list of species that will always be catch limit challenges can also be defined in the config (this is how you can easily add legendaries to the challenge).

By default, all shiny pokemon are also catch limit challenges but this can be disabled in the config.

Spawn alerts

Pokemon with a catch limit challenge will, by default, alert the whole server when they spawn; informing all players of the biome it spawned it and what player it spawned near.
This can be disabled in configs.
