Attribution (BY)

Attribution is optional for video content, but always appreciated.
For all other uses (such as redistributing files or modified downloads), proper credit is required.

No Loot Boxes (NLB)

Legal Code

1. Definitions

“Licensed Material” means the work covered by this license.
“You” means any individual or entity exercising rights under this license.
“NonCommercial” means not primarily intended for or directed toward monetary compensation.
“Loot Box Systems” means any system requiring real-world payment for randomized rewards.
“Video Content” means audiovisual works such as gameplay videos, streams, reviews, or montages.

2. Grant of Rights

The Licensor grants You a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

a. Use, copy, and share the Licensed Material;
b. Create adaptations and derivative works;
c. Distribute the Licensed Material and derivatives non-commercially.

These rights remain valid as long as You comply with this license.

3. Attribution (BY)

Video Content: Attribution is optional but encouraged.
All Other Uses: You must provide reasonable credit, including:

The creator’s name (if provided),
A link to the original source,
A reference to this license,
A notice of any modifications.

4. NonCommercial Use Only (NC)

You may not:

Sell the Licensed Material or derivatives,
Lock the material behind paid access,
Use the material for direct commercial advantage.
Make the Licensed Material obtainable, directly or indirectly, through any in-game currency, virtual token, or other medium that is purchasable with real money — regardless of whether a free alternative method of obtaining the material also exists.

All access must remain free to end users.

5. No Loot Boxes or Paid Randomization (NLB)

The Licensed Material may not be used in:

Loot boxes,
Gacha systems,
Paid random item packs,
Gambling-style or chance-based reward systems.

This applies to both original and modified versions.

6. Allowed Monetization

The following are allowed:

Monetized videos or streams,
Ad-supported content,
Sponsorships unrelated to selling the Licensed Material.

Conditions:

The content must be free to access,
The Licensed Material itself is not sold,
The material is part of a larger creative work.
The following are NOT allowed even if a free alternative exists:
- Selling a key, pass, or token that unlocks the Licensed Material,

- Selling a currency that can be exchanged for the Licensed Material,

- Any system where real money accelerates access to the Licensed Material.

Conditions:

- The content must be free to access,

- The Licensed Material itself is not sold,

- The material is part of a larger creative work,

- No real-money transaction of any kind (direct or currency-mediated) may be required OR optional to obtain the Licensed Material.

7. No Additional Restrictions

You may not apply legal or technical restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by this license.

8. Termination

This license terminates automatically if its terms are violated. Upon termination, all granted rights are revoked.

9. Disclaimer

THE LICENSED MATERIAL IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE MATERIAL.

10. Special Asset License Notice

Exception for Zoro Mega Sceptile Assets

The model, textures, and animations for Zoro Mega Sceptile (inspired by Sceptile from the Pokémon series) are not covered by the CC-Style License: BY-NC-NLB 1.0.

These specific assets are instead licensed under:

Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0)

You may:

Share — Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adapt — Remix, transform, and build upon the material
Use commercially

Under the following terms:

Attribution — You must give appropriate credit.
ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

11. Currency and Key Systems – Explicit Prohibition

For the avoidance of doubt:

Virtual Currency: If any virtual currency, gem, coin, token, or similar medium can be purchased with real money, that currency may not be exchangeable for the Licensed Material — even if the currency also has other uses and even if a free gameplay path to the material exists.
Keys and Unlock Codes: No key, code, pass, or similar item that is sold for real money may unlock, reveal, grant, or accelerate access to the Licensed Material.
No “Optional Payment” Loophole: The existence of a free method to obtain the Licensed Material does NOT excuse any real-money transaction that also provides access. “Paid access” includes optional, expedited, or convenience-based payments.
Example of Violation: A game where the skin can be earned free after 100 hours, but also purchased instantly using “gems” that cost real money — violates this license.
Example of Compliance: A game where the skin can ONLY be earned through gameplay (no real-money purchase of any kind, including currency that buys the skin) — complies with this license.

Clarification

All other models, textures, animations, and assets included in this project remain licensed exclusively under:

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no other asset is released under CC BY-SA 4.0.
