CRZ Moves Pokemon 1.4.0: Cobblemon 1.8 update

⚠️ Requirements changed

• Requires Cobblemon 1.8.0 or newer. It will not load on Cobblemon 1.7.x, so stay on 1.3.3 if you haven't updated Cobblemon yet.
• SimpleTMs is no longer needed. Cobblemon 1.8 has its own TM system, and this mod works with it directly. You can remove SimpleTMs from your server. ▎ Heads-up: removing SimpleTMs deletes its TM/TR items from inventories and storage. Warn your players before you update.
• Still server-side only. Players only need Cobblemon 1.8.0 on their client.
• Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric and NeoForge.

New: TMs for event moves

Cobblemon 1.8 has no TMs for event-only moves, so this mod adds four. You can craft all of them in the TM Machine right away without unlocking them first.

These Pokémon can also learn these moves from the Move Relearner, same as before.

Movesets updated for Cobblemon 1.8

• Every moveset was rebuilt from Cobblemon 1.8.0's data, so the fixes match the learnset changes in 1.8. 921 Pokémon get missing Gen 8/9 moves or legacy-move fixes.
• Legacy moves still become TM moves, as before.

Good to know

With SimpleTMs, every move had a TM. Cobblemon 1.8 only makes TMs for a fixed list of moves, plus the four this mod adds. Some moves have no TM in Cobblemon, including Return, Frustration, Hidden Power, Tera Blast, Mimic and Natural Gift. You can't teach these with a TM, but Pokémon can still learn them by level-up, breeding or a tutor if their learnset includes them.

Updating from 1.3.x

1. Update Cobblemon to 1.8.0 on the server and on every client.
2. Replace the old CRZ Moves Pokemon jar with 1.4.0.
3. Remove SimpleTMs.
4. Optional: delete the config/simpletms/ folder, since nothing reads it anymore.
