# Cobblemon Better Shinies
Turn your rarest encounters into your strongest companions. **Cobblemon Better Shinies** transforms wild shiny Pokémon into **Radiant Shinies**, giving them rare moves, stronger battle stats, and the sounds of a special encounter.
## Make every shiny encounter count
A recognizable **Gen 5 shiny appearance sound** announces a Radiant Shiny to nearby players, even through walls and terrain. A glowing outline helps you spot it in the wild, without surrounding particle effects.
When a battle team contains a Radiant Shiny, **Tight Spot During Battle from Pokémon Black and White** becomes the battle theme. Cobblemon handles the looping and battle-end fade, keeping the encounter feeling special from discovery to combat.
## More than a different color
- **3–4 guaranteed perfect IVs:** every Radiant receives three perfect IVs, with a 50% chance of four. Existing higher IVs are preserved.
- **10% stronger battle stats:** a hidden bonus applies to all six calculated battle stats. The normal party stat display stays unchanged, and Shedinja keeps its one-HP mechanic.
- **Radiant Aura:** moves matching the Pokémon’s current battle typing gain **15% extra base power**, alongside normal STAB and its existing ability.
- **1–3 heritage moves:** Radiants receive rare damaging moves outside their currently accessible moves and elemental types. These can include legendary signature moves and powerful coverage options—even at level one.
Imagine finding a shiny Charmander with **Dragon Rush**, **Origin Pulse**, or **Psystrike**. Heritage moves give familiar Pokémon surprising new battle possibilities while keeping the normal four active move slots. Available choices depend on the Pokémon and your configured move pool.
## Keep the rewards after capture
Radiant bonuses continue after capture. Selected heritage moves are recorded with the Pokémon, and missing moves are repaired during capture, party login, or send-out. Moves you deliberately place in the relearn list stay there.
Radiants from older versions that received no heritage moves can gain them by joining your party and being sent out. Their IVs are preserved.
## Configure your adventure
Adjust the glow, spawn-sound range, perfect-IV chance, battle-stat multiplier, Radiant Aura bonus, and heritage-move pool. Shiny spawn odds remain unchanged.
