🚀 Cruise control for your riding Pokémon.
CobbleCruise adds an autopilot for riding Pokémon in Cobblemon, so you don't have to hold the movement keys on long trips.
i This is a third-party add-on made by SkyFramework. It is not an official Cobblemon project.
✨ Features
- ⌨️ Press U (rebindable in Controls) while riding your own Pokémon as the driver to turn the autopilot on. Press U again to turn it off.
- 🔒 When turned on, it locks the direction you are holding at that moment: forward, backward, sideways or diagonal. If you hold nothing, it goes forward.
- 🖱️ Steer with the mouse. Movement is relative to where you look, so you can change direction freely (including up and down when flying or diving, as Cobblemon allows).
- 🔀 While it is on, pressing a different direction key makes that the new locked direction when you release it (for example, going forward, tap A and you keep going left).
- 🌤️ Works while flying, 🌊 swimming on the surface, 🤿 diving underwater and 🏃 walking on land (land can be disabled in the config).
- 🛑 Safety: it turns off automatically if you dismount, change dimension or disconnect.
- 💬 Short on-screen message when it turns on and off.
- 💻 Client-side only: it doesn't need to be installed on the server.
- 🌍 English and Spanish translations.
🎮 How to use
- Mount your Pokémon and take the driver seat.
- Hold the direction you want to lock (or none, to go forward) and press U.
- Steer with the mouse.
- Press U again to turn the autopilot off.
⚙️ Configuration
Config file: config/sf_cobblecruise.json
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
allowOnLand |
Default true. When false, the autopilot pauses on land without turning off, and resumes when you fly or enter water. |
The default key is U because R is already used by Cobblemon to send out and recall Pokémon. You can rebind it in Controls.
📦 Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- Cobblemon 1.7.3+
- 🧵 Fabric: Fabric Loader 0.19.3+ and Fabric API
- 🔥 NeoForge: NeoForge 21.1+
Separate files for Fabric and NeoForge.
📝 Notes
- What each direction actually does depends on the Pokémon's riding type in Cobblemon, exactly as if you held the keys yourself. For example, flying Pokémon like Charizard don't fly backward or sideways (backward just slows them down), while diving Pokémon like Blastoise can move sideways.
- 🛫 Taking off still requires Cobblemon's normal double jump. The autopilot does not take off for you.
