Description
Hovering over a Pokémon egg reveals a full breakdown of what's inside before it even hatches — including the Pokémon's IVs (Individual Values), nature, moveset, whether it's shiny, and its form (if the species has one, such as regional forms or alternate appearances).
How this changes the experience: Normally in Cobblemon (and in vanilla Pokémon games), eggs are a mystery box — you have no idea what you're getting until it hatches, which can mean wasting hours incubating an egg only to be disappointed by bad IVs, an unwanted nature, or an undesired form. With this tooltip, breeders can immediately judge an egg's quality and make informed decisions: keep it, trade it, or discard it and try again. This turns breeding from a slow guessing game into a strategic, transparent process — competitive players can hunt for ideal IV/nature combinations without blind hatching, shiny hunters can instantly confirm a shiny egg instead of waiting anxiously, and form collectors never accidentally hatch (or skip) the wrong variant.
