Peat Coal burns for 800 ticks, making it a weaker but useful early-game fuel source.
Lignite burns for 1000 ticks, offering a modest upgrade over lower-grade coal.
Anthracite burns for 2600 ticks, providing a powerful high-grade fuel for long smelting sessions.
