Black Clover, inside Minecraft.

Receive your grimoire, pass the Magic Knight exam and become Asta, Yuno, Yami, Noelle or any of 16 playable characters, each with their own magic, combos, ultimates and transformations. Every blow has weight, every transformation erupts across the sky, and every character plays differently.

Every character has three forms, and every form has its own moveset: new combos, new skills and a new ultimate. Never a recolour.

• Weighty melee: combos with hit-stop, cancels into dashes and skills, guard and parry, knockback you can feel.
• Cinematic camera: transformations and ultimates take the camera into an anime shot; impact frames, screen shake and speed lines (each one can be turned down in the settings).
• Your grimoire, your hotbar: five skills per form on Z X C V R, transform on B.
• Anti-magic, mana, devils: Asta cuts spells in half, Yuno rides the wind, Yami cuts dimensions, Noelle's sea dragons crash down, Mereoleona's lions charge.

• The grimoire ceremony: climb the Grimoire Tower and receive your grimoire, your race and your origin.
• The Magic Knight exam: duel an examiner in the Colosseum. The captains raise their hands, you pick your squad and wear its robe.
• Character quests: every form is unlocked through its own story, with trials, bosses and secrets.

• The Royal Capital, a city more than 600 blocks across, and the Colosseum where the exam is held.
• Ranked mages and devils across the world, champions, and world bosses that drop relics.
• Villages, the Black Bulls' hideout, squad halls, elf ruins and ancient dungeons.

World bosses like the Ancient Mana Golem and the Gravito Behemoth drop relics.

Forge the seals, break them at the altar and descend through three layers of the Qliphoth, full of devils only and with more XP the deeper you go. Five domain bosses guard it across the three layers: Zagred, Megicula, Lilith & Naamah, Beelzebub and Lucifero.

• Summons: raise your own squad of subordinates and grow them on a skill tree.
• Guilds: /guild create <name>, /guild add <player>, and the invited player types /guild accept. Guildmates never hurt each other.

Built server-authoritative from day one: every hit, form and cooldown is decided by the server, so it plays the same on a dedicated server as in single player. Characters are balanced against each other in automated NPC tournaments, so no pick is clearly stronger than the rest.

What do I need? Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.252 or newer and GeckoLib 4.9.3+. For the effects you also need Photon 2.2.7+ (the VFX mod by Low-Drag-MC) and the two libraries it runs on: LDLib2 2.2.40+ and KilaGraph 21.1.0.15+.

Does it work on servers? Yes. A dedicated server needs only Clover Craft and GeckoLib. Photon is client-only (it draws the effects on your screen), so the server does not need it, nor LDLib2 or KilaGraph. Every client must run the same Clover Craft version.

Fabric, Forge or 1.20.1? No, NeoForge 1.21.1 only.

Shaders? Yes, it works with Iris and Sodium. The screenshots use the Photon shader pack by sixthsurge, which is optional and not the same thing as the Photon VFX mod above.

Can I put it in my modpack? Yes, on CurseForge or Modrinth, with a link back to this page. Please do not re-upload the jar elsewhere: Clover Craft is All Rights Reserved.

Performance? The target is 60 fps on a mid-range PC, big Devil Union fights included. If a big fight gets heavy, lower the camera shake and screen effects in the mod's client settings.
