Clockwork Phase focuses on carefully crafting your tools with a combination of metal gears. Carefully balance your clockwork's speed with it's efficiency. Create a powerful, short-duration pickaxe, or a long-lasting pickaxe with a slower speed, the choice is yours.
1.16.5?
you know, this was a interesting idea back when it was maintained... if I ever make a mod, I might revisit the idea of time magic if I can come up with a good way to make it "work"...
thanks for the inspiration! Just in case (though I'll try to be as original as possible), do you mind if I reuse some of the ideas in this mod for that (if™ it even happens)? I assume it's fair game given you released it under the GNU GPL, but I may as well ask as a courtesy.

Wow, I'm sorry I missed this for so long. Yes, anyone is free to adapt any part of this for their own creations as long as they follow the license conditions. I'd love to see people create a more refined and feature rich version of this, or even mods with the same general theme. I'd never go after someone for making an awesome free mod for people to enjoy. That said, if you do create a time/clockwork themed mod, please send me a message. I'd love to try it and, if it's well done, I can add it to the description so others might find it too.
In reply to twisted_code:
If you do make a mod that involves Time Magic, do let me know. I love chronomancy, and I would be excited to see what you come up with.
Small Problem, The sword dos not indicate atack damge. I use Mine & blade battlegear, and because of the blade not indicateing a damge value I can't dual wield with it. it does not see it as a weapon.
and I also would like to know how much damage it actually does
In reply to Lefteris_D_Dragon:
That's odd. After you add the frame, mainspring, and clockwork you should end up with an attack value. Did you make sure to do all those things and then wind it (although I don't believe winding it makes a difference)?
In reply to clyax113:
I will try aggain, tho i just saw the btetter fps mod.
I run a Potato pc and fast craft was the only thing keeping me 1.7.10
But the sword's frame was made from 6 brass gears, 1 ancient coin and 2 iron gears.
the spring has 537600 tension, and it can 2hit a zombie pigman
I have a very minimal modlist. 9 mods. to be exact.
bibliocraft
fastcraft.
NEI+Code chicken core
clockworkphase
mouse tweaks
mine & blade battlegear 2
enchanting pluss
lootable bodies
all in the latest versions
and run 10.13.4.1614 of forge.
But i may try 1.12.2. as I might be able to run it with the better fps mod
and the sword, with the same setup also does not display attack
and the items have durability in 1.12.2 i lost a chestplate whenit tun out of tension.
yeah... back to 1.7.10 it is
In reply to Lefteris_D_Dragon:
Wait, your chestplate full disappeared when it ran out of tension? If so something might just be wrong with your mod. Maybe see if either Lumaceon or ftb_lag could troubleshoot it. The only thing I can think of is reinstalling your .jar file for your modpack to make sure it isn't corrupted.
In reply to clyax113:
I could do it, and update this comment as a test if you want it.
but I run this on a total potato, with lots of preformance mods and it still isn't as smooth as 1.7.10 with just fastcraft.
and in 1.7.10 there is only that battlegerar non compatability.
Edit:
Recomended version of forge1.7.10 , instaled only clockwork phase. latest 1.7.10
And damage on the sword refuses to show up
In reply to Lefteris_D_Dragon:
I meant reinstall you Clockwork Phase .jar file. If you meant that too then I don't understand what you mean.
Are you still working on this? If not, can I?
In reply to dacomputernerd:
You can access the Github repo through the Source link and fork it if you'd like. I could add you as a developer as well, after seeing some progress. That being said, a few years ago, I worked on a major redesign, titled Clockwork Phase 2. Some experimental alpha builds can be downloaded here on Curseforge.
CP2 is pretty much a totally different mod: the original is more of a mystical time shenanigan mod, where the remake focuses more on magitech machines. While I was busy with developing this remake, FTB_lag generously offered to update the first one here to MC 1.12.
Within the last couple of months, I actually "redesigned the redesign" a second time due to a lack of clear direction. The latest form of the project is called Aeonicraft. This is still in the early stages of development, so it can only be found on Github (at least for now). Sadly, progress has been much slower than I'd like as I have to study for university.
In reply to Lumaceon:
Instead of tools and abilities like the first one, and instead of tools and machines in the second one, what's Aeonicraft about?
In reply to clyax113:
A refinement of the ideas in the first two, with a more thought-out progression. Unlike before, there's now a clear roadmap to refer to during development, so it should feel a bit less like a jumble of random ideas.
Gameplay-wise, the clockwork/machine progression and the temporal gadget progression are separated until late mid-game. One focuses on generating "temporal compression" from the land where time is frozen (unloaded chunks) to speed up a variety of tasks (mining, fishing, etc...). The other is like a standard tech-mod progression. Once you're set up in both, you can combine them to get temporal machines kind of like CP2.
There are also plans for late-game content, but that's not the current focus.
In reply to Lumaceon:
Is this released online somewhere, or is this just something you have saved that you're working on?
In reply to clyax113:
Outside of the source code on Github, no. It's still early in development.
In reply to Lumaceon:
Okay because I think that is a great direction for the mod, and it is an excellent blend of the first two mods.
I thought this mod allowed you to freeze time or slow it I’m a little disappointed
Are you just porting the original features or do you plan to add more? I recall some parts of the original mod weren't quite done when it stopped updating.
In reply to mihotabp5:
Currently just a simple port. I have no plans to continue adding features.
