Clocked In

Give every villager a bed and a workstation for good, and keep them there.

Vanilla villagers grab any free bed and any free workstation, swap them at night, and change jobs whenever someone breaks a lectern. Clocked In ends that with one item: the Magic Wand.

How it works

1. Right-click a villager with the wand to select him. The chat shows his work registry: profession, bed and workstation, and whether they were assigned or found on his own.
2. Right-click a bed: it is his, for good.
3. Right-click a workstation: it is his, for good, and his profession follows it.

Three clicks per villager, no re-selecting between the bed and the workstation.

• The wand is absolute: if another villager had that bed or workstation, he loses it (the chat tells you who).
• One bed and one job per villager: assigning a new one releases the old one.
• They stay put: the spots are claimed like vanilla claims them, so no other villager takes them. At work time a villager walks to his workstation and at night to his bed; if he is still not there a few seconds later, he is put there.
• Sneak + right-click a villager clears his assignments.
• Right-click a bed or workstation with no villager selected to see who owns it.
