This License applies to any project that explicitly states that it is licensed under the Lidwinae Mod License v1.0, including its original source code, compiled files, textures, models, sounds, artwork, documentation, and other original materials.

1. Permissions

You may:

Download, install, and use the Project for personal gameplay.
Use the Project on private or public Minecraft servers.
Include an official, unmodified version of the Project in a public or private modpack, subject to the conditions in Section 2.
Showcase the Project in videos, livestreams, screenshots, reviews, tutorials, articles, and other media.
Monetize media featuring the Project through ordinary advertising, sponsorships, platform rewards, or viewer donations.
View the publicly available source code for personal learning, educational reference, debugging, and security review.
Compile or modify the source code solely for private learning, testing, or personal gameplay, provided that the resulting files are not shared or distributed.

2. Modpacks

You may include the Project in a modpack only when:

The included file is an official and unmodified release.
The Project is credited to lidwinae.
The Project’s official CurseForge, Modrinth, or GitHub page is linked whenever reasonably possible.
The Project is not sold separately or presented as an exclusive paid feature.
The modpack does not claim to be an official lidwinae project or imply endorsement by lidwinae.

The modpack exception is the only general permission to redistribute the Project’s compiled file.

A modpack may receive donations, advertising revenue, platform rewards, or other ordinary monetization, provided that access to the Project itself is not sold or placed behind a separate paywall.

3. Restrictions

Without prior written permission from lidwinae, you may not:

Reupload, mirror, or redistribute the Project as a standalone download.
Distribute any modified, patched, translated, unofficial, or rebuilt version of the Project.
Publish or distribute a fork, port, continuation, remake, unofficial update, compatibility patch, or other derivative work based on the Project.
Copy, adapt, extract, or incorporate substantial portions of the Project’s source code into another distributed project.
Copy or reuse the Project’s textures, models, sounds, artwork, documentation, branding, or other original assets in another project.
Sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially redistribute the Project or its original assets.
Place access to the Project itself behind a purchase, subscription, or paid membership.
Remove or alter copyright notices, license notices, authorship information, or credits.
Claim that you created, own, officially maintain, or officially represent the Project.
Use the Project’s name, branding, or assets in a way that may cause an unofficial release to be mistaken for an official one.

4. GitHub Repository and Forks

When the Project’s source code is available in a public GitHub repository, you may use GitHub’s built-in viewing and forking features for:

Personal study.
Private experimentation.
Investigating bugs.
Preparing contributions or pull requests for the original Project.

A GitHub fork does not grant permission to publish a derivative mod, distribute compiled builds, reuse the code in another distributed project, or represent the fork as an independent or official release.

5. Videos and Other Content

Credit in videos, livestreams, screenshots, and similar content is appreciated but not required.

However, you may not claim that you created the Project or falsely imply that your content, server, product, or channel is officially affiliated with or endorsed by lidwinae.

This permission does not include permission to provide unauthorized downloads of the Project or its assets.

6. Permission Requests

You may contact lidwinae to request permission for:

Ports to other Minecraft versions or mod loaders.
Addons or compatibility patches.
Modified public versions.
Use of source code or assets.
Translations distributed as part of the Project.
Other exceptions not granted by this License.

Permission is granted only when explicitly provided in writing by lidwinae. Lack of response does not constitute permission.

7. Third-Party Rights

This License applies only to original material owned by lidwinae.

Minecraft, its trademarks, and any third-party libraries or materials remain subject to the rights and licenses of their respective owners.

This Project is an unofficial fan-made project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

8. Termination

The permissions granted by this License automatically terminate if you violate its terms.

After termination, you must stop the unauthorized activity and remove unauthorized copies under your control.

9. Disclaimer

THE PROJECT IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIDWINAE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES, DATA LOSS, CRASHES, INCOMPATIBILITIES, OR OTHER PROBLEMS ARISING FROM THE INSTALLATION OR USE OF THE PROJECT.

YOU USE THE PROJECT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
