Classic C418 Music Tweaker
Classic C418 Music Tweaker is a small client-side Forge companion mod for Classic C418 Survival Mix.
Recommended resource pack: Classic C418 Survival Mix
Minecraft's background music can sometimes leave very long silence gaps between tracks. This mod reduces those gaps and can print a local "Now playing" message when a music track starts, making it easier to tell which song is currently playing.
What This Mod Does
- Reduces long vanilla silence gaps between background music tracks.
- Shows an optional local chat message when a music track starts.
- Includes simple client commands to toggle the music log.
- Includes simple client commands to adjust the music delay.
- Works well with the Classic C418 Survival Mix resource pack.
- Does not include or redistribute any music files.
- Does not change blocks, items, mobs, recipes, world generation, or server gameplay.
Default Behavior
By default, the mod reduces the silence after a music track ends to around 5-20 seconds.
The now-playing log is enabled by default and appears as a local client-side message.
Commands
/c418music status /c418music log on /c418music log off /c418music log status /c418music delay <minSeconds> <maxSeconds>
Example:
/c418music delay 5 20

This mod does not need to be installed on a server. It works in singleplayer and multiplayer because it only changes the local client's music timing and local music log.
Important Copyright Note
This mod does not include, upload, or redistribute any Minecraft music files.
It only adjusts client-side music timing and optional now-playing messages. The companion resource pack only remaps vanilla sound events to audio already present in the player's own Minecraft installation.
