CityWorld ReForged

A procedural NeoForge world generator that fills Minecraft with endless, fully-furnished cities — roads, buildings, mines, sewers, farms and wild nature — deterministically built from your world seed.

What's new

Added

  • Presets on the Customize screen. A Presets button saves everything the screen holds (style, Nether and End, every setting, and the structure choices) under a name, and loads or deletes saved presets. Each one is a JSON file in config/cityworld/presets/, so a preset can be copied to another install, or into a pack. A modpack that locks the style keeps its style when a preset loads.
  • All on / All off on the Structures page, for an install whose mods add dozens of structure sets.

Changed

  • Apocalypse starts with airborne structures and working lights off (a player's suggestion: a ruin has no power and nobody flying). Both are defaults only, not locked: switch either back on in Customize. The vault keeps its own power as before.

Fixed

  • Changing the style in Customize now gives what that world type gives. It used to reset to CityWorld's built-in defaults, so switching to Apocalypse there turned schematics off and dropped the 40-floor cap and the Apocalypse mobs that picking the Apocalypse world type has. It now loads the style's own world preset settings (or a pack's replacement for them), keeping your structure choices and land.
  • Trees on bridges no longer float half a block above the deck. A small reclaim tree growing on a slab road (a bridge deck) now has its trunk in the slab's place, one log longer, instead of standing on top of it.
  • Nothing carries over into the next world opened in the same game. Found by an audit after a pack hit this class of bug:
    • Bunker blocks were chosen once per game session, by whichever bunker was generated first, then used in every world opened afterwards, whatever its style. Each world now chooses its own, from its seed.
    • The subway's route memo was shared by every world opened; each world now has its own.
    • The map's city-plan setting (on/off, how much it keeps) now resets on logout, as intended, and when the server stops; JourneyMap sends it again in the next world.
