What's new

v 0.1.1

Added

  • A new settings screen (Mods → Cinematic Interactions: Create → Config): pages for Scenes, Effects, View and Client mode, a search across all of them, a panel that explains whatever you hover over, and a card with its own icon for every block. Nothing is saved until you press Done.
  • New settings: camera jolts, result flashes, how far the view follows an ejector's launch, the crafter wall map, and turning the view at screen edges on big crafter walls.

Changed

  • Client mode is rebuilt to work like Cinematic Interactions' own. Each block plays its real scene with its own animations and your inventory shows at the top, while every click reaches the server as an ordinary Create click, so a server without the add-on sees nothing unusual.
  • A scene starts only when you stand right at the block, facing the side you work it from, and only where it can do its job from there. Otherwise the click is Create's own and no scene plays, for example at a basin on a Blaze Burner (its rim is above your hand) or at a saw that isn't running. The "[H] Work" hint under the crosshair follows the same rules.
  • What Create only takes by falling in is dropped from your hand and aimed to land inside: basins, millstones, saws and Item Drains. On a drain the item then runs along it the way it was thrown.
  • Wherever you stand, the view turns to the block you're working, so a deployer at your feet or a basin a block away stays in frame.
  • With an Extendo Grip you can work a basin from a distance: buckets, bottles and taking items out all work, and dropping items in, which can't reach that far, is refused with a note saying why. The grip stays in your hand throughout.

Fixed

All of these were in client mode.

  • Blocks were placed on top of machines instead of going in: a held block on a basin or Item Drain, a funnel on a crafter, depot, drain or deployer. Items that place themselves on a right-click (funnels, display links, super glue) are now refused instead.
  • A scene could start from anywhere within reach.
  • The hover glow sat on the wrong side of the block.
  • Turning a valve back right after a turn got lost. Create ignores a valve for a moment after it stops, and the turn now waits for that.
  • If a saw stopped while its scene was open, items laid on it just sat on top. That is now refused.
