Compresses unused chunks into RAM/Disk. Intended for free server hosting.
Most free server hosts have laughably small amounts of RAM. This is fine for most players, sure, but for us Create Mod connoseurs (best mod ever,) that's a HUGE issue, especially when you can only stuff so many optimization mods into one folder before things get finicky.
So, what's the purpose of this mod? Simple.
Compress unused chunks in RAM!
Ideally, this will work similarly to things like ZRAM.

This mod is intended for the server side of things. NeoForge 21.1.248.
You can use /compactor to do some FUN stuff. Examples:
- /compactor status - live state, cache size/ratio, heap usage
- /compactor on / /compactor off - toggle at runtime
- /compactor delay [ticks] - show or override the idle delay at runtime
- /compactor now - compress all eligible idle chunks immediately
- /compactor purge - drop the cache, freeing its RAM
Quick little note: This is intended for servers running the Create mod, which can be a bit heavy on RAM. Any feedback would be appreciated! I want this to work as best as it possibly can.
