Choup's Drakvyrn Mod brings new tameable drakes : dragon-like entities to Minecraft !

Dependencies :

⚡To run the mod perfectly you'll need to download Geckolib and also Curios API in the correct version, i also recommend to download JEI !

With Epic Fight you should also download this datapack!

Description is based on the lastest version of the mod !

Where to start ?

Drakvyrns :

Are you more like an adventurer ? Then try to find the Drakvyrn Hand structure : a rare ancient monument found in mountains that look like a tower and that houses an Ancient Egg.

The Ancient Egg can be break with a diamond pickaxe, you can then try to place it on a netherrack block surrounded with 4 flames to hatch this mysterious Egg. The spawned Wild Drakvyrn needs to be fight to drop its egg that can be placed down to spawn a cute baby drakvyrn !
Wild Drakvyrn color will depends on the biomes your at !

The Baby Drakvyrn can be tamed with some "Raw Meat on A Bone" or "Cooked Meat on A Bone" and can grow with these same items. Drakvyrns are controlled by the "Ancient Ring".
When in adult stage you have to re-nourrish it to mount it and fly in the sky !

You can also cast a fireball with the "G" keybind !

After he died, the Wild Drakvyrn will sometimes drop some scales to make armor, some bones for tools and Ignition Breath Ball to make a cool Staff and some Ignition Potion !

They exist in 8 colors with 2 of them (Warped, Crimson) for the Nether and one for the End (Purple).

Biome list :

-Red Drakvyrn -> Desert, Badland

-Silver Drakvyrn -> Mountains, Grove, Hills

-BLack Drakvyrn -> Swamp, Mangrove, Caverns

-Bronze Drakvyrn -> Forests, Plains

-Green Drakvyrn -> Jungle

-Purple Drakvyrn -> End

-Warped Drakvyrn -> Warped Forest

-Amaranth Drakvyrn -> Crimson Forest

The Drakvyrn Hand :

The Draklets :

Draklets spawn in Forests biomes (Birch forest, Dark forest, Flower forest, Old growth birch forest, Forest...) in a small structure called the Draklet Nest. They will always spawn in a group of three. They are quite dangerous because they inflict poison and are pretty fast !

They can be tamed with Raw meat on a Bone and the cooked version !
Once tamed you can sit them down with the Ancient Ring or equip them an armor (copper, iron, gold, diamond and netherite!) (v3.0.0+)

When killed they'll drop some Draklet Scute to make an armor that will give you a permanent Resistance I potion effect when fully equipped.
The Draklet Tooth can also be dropped to make stronger poison potion or when combine with the rare Draklet Horn you can make a Draklet Dagger!
The "Poisonous" enchantment book was also made to fit with that dagger and increases the strenght of the poison !

The Draves :

Draves are quite massive and have a small pair of wings, but due to their underground habitat (in caves), evolution has rendered their wings flightless.

They exist in 5 color variations (amethyst, topaz, emerald, sapphire and ruby) and when killed they will drop you some Crystal powder (used to make Crystallised Iron Tools *) and if you are lucky an Intact Geode. Intact Geode can be also obtained by feed the Drake with either a Raw Meat on a Bone or its cooked version. And this item can be smashed onto the ground to discover his hidden loot !

*Crystallised Iron Tools are a new version of Iron tools set they are more efficient and more durable than the regular Iron Tools !

The Drozens:

The Drozen is a friendly Drake that will spawn only in Snowy Plains and Groves biomes in their nest (choups_drakvyrn_mod:drozen_nest) .

They are tameable with Frozen Meat on a Bone and can be rided. They're pretty fast, can't jump and can walk on water! If you hit them, they'll hit you back! Be careful with them!

When killed they will drop an Eternal Frost that is used to make The Eternal Frosted Blade and they also drop a Drozen Horn that is used to make a Drozen Spear that can be upgrade into a Frozed Drozen Spear !

The Draekhalde :

The Draekhalde (=Dune Drake) is a serpent-like entity that you can find in the desert, in its den (choups_drakvyrn_mod:draekhalde_den).

It cannot be tamed and is aggressive toward players. It also has a special AOE attack, the sandy 'cloud' attack, which deals 12 damage to the player and inflicts blindness.

Upon death, it'll drop some cool stuff like its scales, toxin etc.. to make other items such as The Scimitar of the Mirage or the Draekhalde's Desert Boots !

Drakthals:

"Deep in the oceans, in the darkest reaches of the Deep Ocean biomes, the Drakthal evolved from ancient sea dragons. Silent hunters of the deep, they glide through the water with unmatched grace and strike swiftly at anything that dares to approach their territory."

Drakthals spawn in groups of 1 in Deep Ocean biomes (lukewarm, cold, warm etc) and are considered quite rare. Despite their size, they are agile and can deal significant damage when provoked.

They can be tamed with the Coral Treat, which allows you to ride them safely. Once tamed, you can make them sit and even dash with the G keybind ! They are extremely fast in water.

When killed, Drakthals drop Drakthal Fins used to craft a special armor that grants cool effects when worned, an Abyssal Rapier a sharp weapon with enhanced underwater capabilities. Then drop some Prismarine Shards & Prismarine and the Glowing Lure that can be used again for Abyssal Torches (UNDERWATER TORCHES)
