Riders bump everywhere

• Two ridden birds pass through each other no more. A ridden bird is a vehicle, and the game never pushes a vehicle, so outside a heat riders could ride straight through one another. The kart contact that racers already use in a heat now runs for any bird a player is riding, so riders bump in the paddock, on the square and on the road as well as on the course.

Rook never pays more than the purse

• A bet can no longer earn more than winning the heat does. The most Rook takes on a pick is the heat's first-place purse divided by the odds, so the biggest payout equals the purse: 3 GP on yourself in a Class C sprint, 1 GP on the field at six to one, up to the sixteen a hand can hold on a long Class S grand prix. Rook tells you the limit with the odds, and if a bet placed before the heat was known is over its limit, the difference comes back.
• A duel pot is capped the same way: the stake stops at the course's purse, so the winner nets one purse and the loser is out one.
• A lost bet pays nothing, and a heat that ran to a result settles every bet. Before, a heat no rider finished handed every spectator their stake back even when a field bird had won; now only a heat nobody at all finished scratches.
