# Chimera: Gene Fusion

**Harvest genes from monsters — then turn yourself into one.**

## What you can do
- **Fuse** — two different genes create a chimera (one gene is the body, the other contributes its parts); two identical genes simply spawn that mob.
- **Model it** — before fusing, tweak each part's offset, scale and rotation to build the creature you want (hold Shift for big steps).
- **Extract** — trap a mob in the Extraction Chamber to harvest genes reliably. Extracting a chimera yields a **composite gene** containing both halves.
- **Inject** — put a gene into **yourself**. Undead genes set you on fire in daylight; others grant fire resistance, teleportation, a guardian laser, gliding, evoker fangs and more.
- **Grow** — absorb hidden traits (Alchemy, Pillage, Magic Knowledge) to unlock supernatural genes step by step.
- **Automate** — Fusion Machine, Culture Chamber, Extraction Chamber, Creature Pipes and a cross-dimension Deployer.

- A built-in in-game guide (requires Patchouli; if Patchouli is not installed the book simply hides itself and nothing breaks).

## Install
1. Minecraft **1.21.1** + **NeoForge 21.1.x**
2. Drop the jar into `mods\`
3. Optional: Patchouli (in-game guide), Jade (machine tooltips)
