Chaotic is a highly tactical, hardcore survival mod built for Forge 1.20.1 and Neoforge 1.21.1. It completely overhauls Minecraft's vanilla death mechanics, replacing immediate deaths with an intense squad-based medical recovery framework.
Designed specifically to complement modern firearm packs like Timeless and Classics Zero (TACZ), this mod scales damage systems and enforces strict, high-stakes parameters on your server environment.
🎮 Core Features
- 💥 1.5x Projectile Damage Scaling: Automatically applies a 1.5x multiplier to incoming gun projectile damage tracks. Firefight combat becomes deadlier, fast-paced, and highly competitive.
- 🩸 Down-But-Not-Out (DBNO) Crawling: Dropping to zero health no longer instantly kills you. Instead, you enter a prone, critical bleeding loop lasting 1200 ticks (60 seconds). In this state, you are heavily slowed, blinded, and leave a trackable stream of blood particles.
- 💉 Adrenaline Auto-Injection: Carrying a charged syringe item inside your active inventory grid acts as a lifeline. The moment you sustain fatal damage, the mod triggers an automatic injection sequence, skipping the DBNO crawl entirely and instantly stabilizing you at 3.0 hearts.
- ➕ Tactical Squad Revives: Nearby squadmates can rush to your bleeding body and right-click you with medical supplies to pull you back into the fight:
- Medkit: Fully patches you up and stabilizes your status bar at 6.0 hearts.
- Syringe: Injects pure adrenaline, restoring you to a fragile 2.0 hearts but granting a massive Speed II mobility effect to break away from cover.
- 🔋 Adrenaline Charging System: Crafting your medical gear is straightforward. Hold a clean Syringe item in your main hand and a Ghast Tear in your off-hand, then right-click to instantly charge the injector tube with active adrenaline.
- ☠️ Persistent Character Life Profiles: Every player starts with a strict budget of 3 lives. Bleeding out completely or taking damage while already downed permanently burns a profile life.
- Remaining Lives: You respawn safely back at your home base with a global chat broadcast warning.
- 0 Lives Left: You face a permanent Game Over screen and are disconnected from the server loop.
🖥️ Administrator Commands
/chaotic:revival <player>— Bypasses all bleeding loops to forcefully stabilize and revive a downed target (Requires Operator / Permission Level 2).
